Winners of Russia’s Economic Revival competition to be announced on April 6

On April 6, Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency will host a ceremony in Moscow to announce and award the winners of the 2016 Russia’s Economic Revival, the 23rd such competition among journalists. The event is sponsored by Russian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Russian Union of Journalists. The Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ is the business partner of the competition.

Applications from 124 cities and municipal entities of Russia have been submitted for the competition. The jury selected the winners in the following nominations: The Best Regional Media; The Best Individual Publications; The Field Media; A Successful Debut. The Coordination Center will present the award to the author of the best journalistic work focusing on development trends in Internet economy, namely, in the domain name sector.

The award ceremony will take place as part the National Forum of Business Media, which will focus on the business media’s role in covering the establishment of a business-friendly environment in the country, as well as the features and the structure of Russian media system, the legal matters of media activity and many other issues. The forum will also be attended by experts from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
