Kaspersky Lab becomes RIGF 2017 partner

The Russian Internet Governance Forum will take place in Tatarstan on April 7

Kaspersky Lab has become an official cybersecurity partner of the Russian Internet Governance Forum, which is scheduled to take place on April 7, 2017 in Innopolis, Republic of Tatarstan. The company has a long history of supporting RIGF, since it will be the fifth time it partners with the forum.

In addition, Andrei Yarnykh, head of Kaspersky Lab’s online solution unit, will make a presentation at RIGF 2017’s breakaway session on cybersecurity. Experts taking part in this session will explore the Russian and international experience regarding IT security and will discuss the recent cyber incidents.

The eighth Russian Internet Governance Forum will focus on attracting new players to global internet governance and changing the current agenda, which calls for discussing an ever widening range of issues. Guests and speakers will try to articulate the ongoing trends in internet governance and discuss the new challenges faced by actors. The forum is organized by the Coordination Center for TLD RU with support from the Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media and Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as ICANN, ISOC, RIPE NC and APTL. Kaspersky Lab will be the forum’s cybersecurity partner.
